Located at an elevation of 4000 feet, our house is situated on a 7 acre hilltop with sweeping vistas of the Talamanca mountain range, Panama’s Volcan Baru and the valley.
We have beautiful gardens, an orchard, coffee plants, a small creek, milk cows, chickens and a 400 tree reforestation project…
How To Get Here
Flying
From San Jose, take Sansa , to either Golfito Airport or Nature Air to Golfito Airport. We are 75 minute taxi ride from Golfito. Golfito also has car rental available.
Bus
For $15 a person, Tracopa will take you from the center of San Jose right to the center of San Vito where our English speaking property manager will pick you up, you can go food shopping and 10 minutes later you will be at the house. The bus takes about 6 hours. These busses are nice and comfortable (if you are not too tall).
Driving
From the center of San Jose, we are approximately a 5.5 hours drive south. If it your first trip to Costa Rica, we would recommend public transportation but if you are adventurous, go for it. A nice midway point to stop is San Isidro El General where there are some beautiful eco lodges.
